11/30/16   Camden Police Report

Camden Police officer Justin Harper made two arrests following a traffic stop in Camden November 26, in the Cash Road area. Harper said in his report he recognized the driver of a 98 Maroon Chevy Tahoe as Douglas Stutz whom Harper knew didn't have a drivers license.

Harper  explained to Stutz why he had pulled him over and requested ID from two other passengers in the vehicle. One of the passengers, 55 year old Russell Thibault of Camden gave his name as Russ Estes. When checking ACIC, dispatch said nothing was coming back on Estes. After further questioning it was determined that Thibault thought he had a warrant out on him and gave the officer a fictitious name.

Thibault was cited for criminal obstruction and given a court date of January 4.

Stutz received a citation for no drivers license and is to appear in court on the same day as Thibault.
