86 year old Gene Woodfield of Pine Bluff passed away Saturday. He served in the U.S. Army as a medic during the Korean Conflict. Gene worked for the Arkansas Highway and Transportaion Department for many years, retiring in 1987 as an assistant maintenance engineer.

The family will receive friends tomorrow evening from 5-7pm at Ralph  Robinson and Son in Pine Bluff. Funeral services Wednesday morning at 10:30 at First Assembly of God with Reverend Gary Bell officiating to celebrate Gene's life. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery. Ralph Robinson and Son funeral directors of Pine Bluff in charge of arrangements.
