93 year old Thomas C. “Sonny” Cogbill Jr. of Star City died Friday in Pine Bluff. He was a retired Lincoln county farmer, who had farmed since 1946. He was a veteran of WW II. Cogbill was a former Star City School Board member and the Lincoln County School Board for over 10 years. He also served on the Arkansas State Board of Education for 27 years.

Funeral services will be held this morning at 10 at Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City with Brother Marcus Rogers officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Burial at Drake Cemetery. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service of Star City.
