11/21/16   Car Rear Ends 18-Wheeler Driver Dies

A 21 year old Taylor woman became Arkansas' 482 highway fatality on Friday. According to State Police, Meghan M. Thibodeaux died following the collision of her 2016 Kia and a 2007 Freightliner.

The report indicated that the car driven by Thibodeaux was northbound on US highway 371-S and the truck was also northbound on 371-S.  Thibodeaux's Kia crashed into the rear end of the truck. She died at the scene. The driver of the truck was not identified in the report.

Weather conditions were clear, the roadway dry at the time of the crash at 8:37pm on Friday night. The crash occurred about 5 miles south of Magnolia. State Trooper D. Fielding investigated the accident.
