11/14/16   Bearden City Council/Fordyce School Board Meet Tonight

The Bearden City Council and the Fordyce School Board meet this evening. The Bearden City Council will meet at 7pm at city council chambers at city hall. The Fordyce School Board meets at 5pm at the High School. Both meetings are open to the public.

Following the general election this past Tuesday, the Bearden city council will have a new face on the council beginning January 1. Terry Weatherly will take the Ward 1 Postion 1 seat on the council now held by Paula Bounds. Bounds decided not to run for re-election.

Ronnie Quarles retaines his seat on the council after a challenge by Jay Doherty Jr. Quarles won by 6 votes.
