A food bank has been started in Bearden. The first food offering attracted 120 families from the Bearden area. If you'd like to volunteer to help with the food giveaway each month, or would like to apply for assistance, Jan McWhorter says you can just go on line. The Food giveaway is the 3rd Saturday of each month from 8 till noon. The next giveaway will be Saturday, Nov 19. |
