11/09/16   Camden Police Report

 

Camden police officer Al Sabban was dispatched to Family Dollar on California Avenue on November 1,  in reference to three disorderly females in the area. Upon investigation, Sabban saw the three walking away from the area and he recognized one that fit the description of the caller. She identified herself as Angelique Scott. Scott admitted to drinking alcohol within the hour. Sabban also had knowledge that Scott had allegedly fallen through a window at her mother's residence due to her intoxication. She was taken into custody for public intox and will appear in Camden District Court on December 7.

November 2, Camden police officer Blake Norwood was dispatched to Wal-Mart on a shoplifting report. The asset protection officer reported that 19 year old Zachary Whitley had taken a Bushmaster Nikon scope priced at over $163.00. Norwood drove to Whitley's address and caught Whitley walking away from the residence and took him into custody. Whitley showed Norwood where he had hidden the scope. The scope was returned to Wal-Mart. Whitley is to appear in Camden District Court on December 21, to answer to the charge.
