93 year old Georgia L. Steelman Thomason of Anniston, Alabama, formerly of Hampton, died Wednesday. While in Hampton, she worked alongside her husband in the courhouse while he served as Sheriff of Calhoun County. She later was owner of a women's clothing store on Main Street in Hampton.

Visitation will be Saturday from 10-11am at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce with funeral services beginning at 11. Burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Hampton. Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce in charge of arrangements.
