53 year old Joe Wayne Cook of Rison died Friday in Rison. Joe graduated from White Hall High School. He pitched for White Hall helping them win their first state high school baseball title. For the past 10 years, Joe has been employed with the City of Kingsland as the Water Department Manager.

Funeral services are this morning at 10 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Brother Tony Adkins officiating. Interment at Cypress Memorial Cemetery in Pine Bluff. Funeral arrangements by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
