10/24/16   Extension Homemakers Council Serving The State For 104 Years

Kathy May, Dallas County Family and Consumer Sciences agent, on a recent KQ-102.3 "South Arkansas Today"  broadcast says the Dallas County Homemakers Council is recruiting new members and clubs. May says the Extension Homemakers Council has existed in the state since 1912, 104 years, and is almost one hundred years old in Dallas County.

She said at present, there are 29 Home Extension Club members. We asked May what the Home Extension Club does.

May says everyone has enough time to be a member.
