10/17/16   South Arkansas Residents Appointed To Positions By Governor Hutchinson

 

A number of South Arkansas residents were included in appointments announced by Governor Asa Hutchinson on Friday.

Katherine Beck of White Hall was named director of the Office of State-Federal Relations. She serves at the will of the governor and replaces Alison Williams. 

Marie Bane of Magnolia was appointed to serve on the Arkansas State Board of Sanitarians. She replaces April Jones, her appointment runs through June, 2018. 

Dr. Lenora Newsome of Smackover was reappointed to the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy, her appointment expires June 30, 2022. 

Sam Whitaker of Monticello was appointed to serve on the Arkansas Agriculture Board, replacing Dewayne Chappell. His appointment expires Aug 15, 2020. 

Brian Todd of White Hall was appointed to serve on the Criminal Justice Institute Advisory Board, replacing James Davis. The appointment expires January 14, 2019.
