10/13/16   Fordyce City Council Tables Ambulance Request

The Fordyce City Council on Tuesday night tabled a request by Lynn Luscomb, owner of Central Ambulance and Medical Service of Fordyce for a subsidy for the service. We asked Mayor John McNichol how he felt about the request.

Luscomb told the council in a letter that the run volume in Fordyce and Dallas County fluctuates so greatly she cannot afford to keep extra crews on the payroll. She now has 8 full and part time employees, she did have 14 employees at one time.
