10/11/16   Rison In The Fall Cook-off Deadline Nears

The deadline to enter the Rison in the Fall Barbeque Cook-off is this Thursday, October 13. The grand prize is $1,000.00. The entry fee is $35.00 per entry per category, for chicken, pork ribs and Cooker's Choice.

There will be cash prizes of $200.00 for first place, $100.00 for second and $50.00 for third in each category. Contestants can enter more than one category.

Entry forms can be turned in at Rison City Hall. Roy Phillips will be on the air Thursday morning at 9 on KQ-102.3's "South Arkansas Today" to discuss this event and Rison in the Fall to be held at Pioneer Village in Rison.
