Fordyce Police officers only made a couple of arrests in the period from  September 27 thru October 3.

On October first officer Roger Wood arrested Jeremiah D. Smith of Fordyce and charged him with first degree criminal mischief and third degree assault. Wood also cited Timothy Vance White of Warren on October 1,  on a charge of failure to pay fines.

On September 29,  Catrina Denise Harris of Fordyce, 27,  was charged  in circuit court with furnishing, possessing or using prohibited articles in a detention facility.

On September 3, Harris had a bag full of toiletries for Tyrell Ross at the Dallas County Detention Center. Intake officers searched the items and found plastic baggies of marijuana stuffed down inside a powder bottle. After confronting her, Harris confessed and said she was doing what Ross had requested.
