09/29/16   McMahan Autopsy To Be released Soon

Results of an autopsy on the body of Hampton Assistant coach Jorre McMahan should be released today. That's the word from Ouachita County Coroner Sylvester Smith of Camden.

Smith says McMahan arrived at Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden about 5:45 Tuesday evening and was pronounced dead some 10 minutes later. The 26 year old McMahan, collapsed during a practice session. Head coach Wes  Ables said McMahan didn't complain about not feeling good and didn't appear to be in any kind of stress.

McMahan was in his first season at Hampton after spending two seasons at Barton. Ables says this week's football matchup against Camden Harmony Grove may be rescheduled. Hampton is 4-0 on the year, averaging more than 50 points per game.
