09/27/16   Veterans Celebration Coming In November In Fordyce

Mark your calendar for Sunday, November 6 at 2:30, the date and time for the annual Veterans Celebration in Fordyce at First Baptist Church. The event honors all who have worn or are still wearing the uniform of the United States.

The event is sponsored by the Fordyce Chamber of Commerce with assistance from Fordyce Sesame Club, Chicot Trace Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution, the Colonial Dames and the Dallas County Museum.

Immediately following the celebration, there will be a reception at the Dallas County Museum and an opportunity to view the expanded Veterans exhibit featuring the veterans of Dallas County.

All veterans and their families are invited to attend both events and the public is encouraged to come support those who have given service to their country. For more information, call the Chamber at 352-3520.
