09/27/16   Committee On "Granny's House" Will Meet Tuesday October 4

The committee, comprised of three Dallas County JP's and three Fordyce City Councilmen, will meet on Tuesday, October 4 at City Hall at 5pm. Fordyce city councilmen John Daniel, Barbara Spears and Melvin Collins have agreed to serve on the committee along with John Meador, Edith Totty and  Wendell Lee.

The committee will meet with County Judge Jimmy Jones, Mayor John MacNichol and City Attorney Tom Wynne to decide about the clean up of the Granny's House property. Mayor John MacNichol says he's wanting to find out what actually happened to the building.

The meeting is open to the public.
