09/23/16   Drug Bust In Cleveland County

Following a lengthy drug investigation, the Cleveland County Sheriff's department assisted by Game and Fish officers, State Police and 13^th Judicial Drug Task Force officers last week, three search warrants were served and six woman and five men were arrested.

According to a report in the Cleveland County Herald, Cleveland County chief deputy Gary Young said controlled buys were made that resulted in arrest warrants being issued for 11 individuals who face charges of delivery of a controlled substance and other drug-related charges. Young said a total of 10 individuals were arrested including several residents of Rison and others from Warren, White Hall and Pine Bluff.

Young anticipates additional charges to be filed in some of the cases, based on items found during the execution of the search warrants.
