A 24 year old Camden man has been charged in Ouachita County Circuit court on two counts of residential burglary. Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the 13th Judicial District, Phillip A. Stone filed the charges on September 2 against Tevin Dajon Williams of Camden.

On July 26 Williams was charged with residential burglary and theft of property after he claimed that a house, rented by Eve Streeter was owned by his family and someone had ransacked it. An investigation revealed that Williams had  in fact broken into the residence and stole lots of merchandise belonging to the Streeters who had been on vacation.

On July 28, Williams is alleged to have broken into a residence at 523 Jackson Street and removed copper wire. A software service that monitors scrap metal yard sales revealed that Williams had made 11 transactions at Camden Iron and Metal during the time the Streeter family was on vacation.

Deputy Prosecutor R. Jeffrey Sawyer filed charges of rape against 39 year old Marcus Dywatte Morris of Camden on September 19. Morris is charged with the rape of a minor between April 1, 2013 and March 31, 2014. The incident was just reported June 11, 2016 after the child told the mother what had happened to her.
