09/14/16   Fordyce Mayor Talks About Granny's House City Council Updates Fireworks Ordinance

The Fordyce City Council met last night. The issue of Granny's House cleanup and ownership was not discussed at the meeting. Mayor John McNichol said he hadn't had time to talk to city attorney Tom Wynne about the issue. Wynne, at the last Quorum Court meeting felt the corporation involved with Granny's House still owns the property. We asked McNichol about that last night.

McNichol complimented Candace McCollum for the great job she did in putting together another successful “Sticky Fingers” event.

Another item on last night's agenda was updating a ordinance on fireworks.
