09/14/16   State Supreme Court In Session At Fordyce Thursday September 22

 

The Arkansas Supreme Court's “Appeals on Wheels” is coming to the Fordyce Civic Center Thursday, September 22 . An actual case will be argued before the court on that day with oral arguments beginning at 10am.

According to Dallas County Sheriff Stan McGahee,  Justice Robin Wynne will be presiding over the case. All justices have been invited to attend. The case will center on the constitutionality of the road safety checks conducted by State Police and other law enforcement agencies.

After the conclusion of the testimony, a reception will be held at 11:30 at the  Dallas County Museum, downtown Fordyce.
