09/05/16   A Portion Of Highway 48 In Dallas County Closed Tomorrow

According to the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department, work to repair a culvert will require closing a section of Arkansas 48 east of Carthage in Dallas County tomorrow. 'till 5pm, weather permitting. Southbound traffic on U.S. 167 should take Arkansas 46 in Sheridan to Arkansas 229 to reach Carthage. Northbound traffic on U.S. 1 67 should take Arkansas 273 which turns into Arkansas 229 to reach Carthage.

According to information we received from County Judge Jimmy Jones' office, it may be necessary for the road to be closed additional days.
