09/05/16   Two Killed In Two South Arkansas Crashes Friday

 

Two South Arkansas men died in separate car crashes on Friday. According to State Police, 21 year old Jonathan Kyle Smith of Warren died as the result of a one car crash on Bradley County Road 7 North Friday evening. According to the report, Smith was driving a 1998 Ford Explorer south on county road 7 when he lost control in a curve and the vehicle overturned. The weather conditions were clear, the roadway dry at the time of the crash at 5:10pm on Friday. Corporal Brian Dixon of the State Police investigated the crash.

Friday morning, a 58 year old Stuttgart man was killed in a two vehicle collision on highway 165-B at D&N Road in Arkansas County. According to a State Police report, a 2012 Honda, driven by Kenneth H. Dooley of Stuttgart was headed south on U.S. Highway 165-B, a 2003 Chevrolet Pickup driven by an unidentified driver was traveling north on 165-B..and made a left hand turn into the path of Dooley's vehicle. Dooley was killed. The weather conditions were clear, road conditions dry at the time of the crash at 6:40am on Friday morning. State Trooper Andrew L. Pannell investigated the crash.
