08/31/16   Bearden Man Charged With 10 Felonies

 

A 45 year old Bearden man has had 10 felony drug cases filed against him in Ouachita County Circuit Court by Deputy Prosecuting Attorney R. Jeffrey Sawyer.

Paul Pardue, who resides at 283 Ouachita 233 near Bearden was charged on two counts of delivery of meth or cocaine, three charges of offenses relating to records and maintaining premises in a drug free zone. Pardue used his residence as a place to store and sell drugs from. He was also charged with two counts of simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of meth or cocaine with the purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of firearms by a felony.

Pardue's arrest came following an extensive investigation by the Drug Task Force. On July 28, Drug Task Force officers obtained a warrant to search Pardue's residence. Pardue was arrested at that time. Stacy Pardue was also taken into custody but Pardue told investigators all the narcotics found in the house and on his person was his and he purchased the narcotics.

A Colt 45 handgun in Pardue's possession he said he obtained for a hundred dollars. Some shotguns were also found in the house.
