08/31/16   One Killed Three Injured In Head-on Collision

A 31 year old Almyra, Arkansas woman died as the result of a two car crash on Monday afternoon. According to State Police, the dead woman was identified as Sue Williams, driver of one of the vehicles involved in the crash.

A 2012 GMC Sierra, driven by 61 year old Noel Bracewell of Stuttgart was north bound on state highway I 30, north of Dewitt, when a 2003 Cadillac Deville, south bound on I 30, driven by Williams crossed the center line and struck Bracewell head on.

Williams was pronounced dead at the scene by the Arkansas county coroner. Bracewell and two minors in his car were taken to Baptist in Little Rock and Baptist in Stuttgart for treatment. The extent of their injuries was not immediately known. It was raining at the time of the crash and the roadway wet. Sgt Brad Spurlin of the State Police investigated the crash.
