08/24/16   What do Clinton, Trump,  Hedges, Kahn, Hoefling and Johnson Have In Common

There are more candidates running for President than just Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. According to records at the Ouachita County Clerks office, there are three independent candidates that will be on the ballot November 8. Jim Hedges, Lynn S. Kahn and Tom Hoefling. There will also be one libertarian candidate that you've probably heard of, Gary Johnson.

In addition to Michael Pence, Trump's running mate and Tim Kaine, Clinton's running mate..Frank Gilbert will be Johnson's running mate.

For U.S. Senate, John Boozman, a Republican, will be facing Conner Eldridge, a Democrat and Frank Gilbert, a Libertarian.

4^th District Congressman Bruce Westerman will face Libertarian candidate Kerry Hicks.

For State Senate District 27, Democratric candidate Bobby J. Pierce will face Republican Trent Garner. For Associate Judge District 5 for the Court of Appeals, the  candidates are Mark Klappenbach and James McMenis.
