08/23/16   Fordyce Police Chief Talks About School Bus Safety

A reminder to everyone driving in school zones, slow down and watch out for kids and school buses. On KQ-102'3's "South Arkansas Today",  recently Fordyce Police Chief Jimmy Vaughn says there will be beefed up patrols in school zones, and be sure to observe and obey the posted  speed and avoid getting a ticket for speeding in a school zone.

Fordyce currently has 10 police officers, including the chief. Vaughn said there were no immediate plans to hire additional officers.

Dallas County Judge Jimmy Jones said in a recent interview he appreciates our law enforcement officers and first responders.
