08/22/16   Filing Deadline For Bearden School Board

The filing deadline for persons interested in running for school board positions is August 30.  There will be four school board positions to be filled in the Bearden School  District according to Superintendent of Bearden schools, Denny Rosenberg.

Karen Castleberry was appointed to the Zone 1 school board position on the Bearden board after a member moved out of the district. Anyone interested in running for school board must file their petition with 20 qualified registered voters who are residents of the district and respective zone. The deadline to turn in the petitions is August 30^th.
