08/17/16   Two new Filings For Positions On Bearden City Council

Two Bearden residents have filed for positions on the Bearden City Council. Jay Doherty Jr. has filed for Ward 2, position 2 on the council, a seat currently held by Ronnie Quarles. Quarles has filed for re-election.

Terry Weatherly has filed for Ward 1, position 1 on the council, the seat currently held by Paul Bounds. Bounds was just elected at the last election.

Bobby Steelman, who holds the Ward 1, position 2 spot on the city council has filed for re-election. Filing deadline for city council is this Friday.
