08/17/16   Charges Filed In Dallas County Against Four Fordyce Residents

 

Deputy Prosecutor for the 13th Judicial District, Tom Wynne has filed charges of fraudulent use of a debit card against 19 year old Blaze Michael Burdine of Fordyce. According to information filed with the court, Burdine is alleged to have taken a debit card belonging to Sue Ammons in May of this year and running up over $1,300.00 in charges.

35 year old Donnie Edward Warner of Fordyce has been charged with first degree battery and possession of a firearm by a felon. On December 15, Warner was charged in the shooting of Freddy Caldwell of Fordyce. According to the report, Warner beat and shot Caldwell for pulling out in front of him with his vehicle. After being shot twice Caldwell drove himself to the Fordyce Police Department where an officer administered first aid until Caldwell could be transported to the hospital. He was taken to JRMC in Pine Bluff for treatment. Deputy prosecutor Tom Wynne will seek to have Warner tried under the habitual criminal statute that allows for more jail time.

20 year old Deon Martez Dunn of Fordyce and 19 year old Michael Alexander Moffett of Fordyce have been charged in Dallas County Circuit court with attempting to commit commercial burglary. On June 17, the two attempted to break into Watson's Pharmacy using a pick axe but were unsuccessful.
