08/15/16   Bearden School Starts Today With Three City Bus Routes

Bearden Schools begin class today. Bearden Superintendent Denny Rosenberg told us there will be three bus routes in Bearden city limits this year and school  hours have changed a little.

Rosenberg says 75 percent of the students attending school at Bearden will get a reduced price or free lunch, and he says the students have many other benefits available to them.

Fordyce kids don't go back to school until Wednesday. In a recent interview, Fordyce school superintendent Dr. Albert Snow talked about testing results under the A-C-T Aspire testing program, he said Fordyce students did well.

With school back in session in many south Arkansas schools motorists should be alert for kids crossing the road to get to their school buses. It's the law to stop for school buses.
