08/12/16   Charges In Dallas County Circuit Court

A Pine Bluff man has been charged in Dallas County Circuit court on two felony counts. Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Tom Wynne filed the charges on July 25 against 29 year old Patrick Raymond Baber of Pine Bluff.

According to a report filed with the charges, Fordyce police officer Bryce McKinney on July 27 of 2015 was dispatched to Hurry Back to review a video showing footage of Baber involved in credit card theft and fraud. The credit card belonged to Rebecca Heatherly. Baber charged over $718.00 in merchandise before he was caught and charged.

Wynne filed charges against Baber for theft of property and fraudulent use of a credit card. Wynne will also seek to have Baber tried under the habitual criminal statutute that allows for additional jail time.

Wynne also filed charges on July 25 against 57 year old Willie Lee Harris of Fordyce. Harris is charged with 1^st degree domestic battery as the result of an incident that occurred June 7of this year.
