A number of felony charges were filed in Ouachita County Circuit court on July 26 and August 1 by Deputy Prosecuting attorneys Phillip A. Stone and  R. Jeffrey Sawyer.

On July 26, 46 year old Ronald Dale Strickland Jr. of Camden was charged on 12 drug related charges by Prosecutor Phillip A. Stone.

June 21, Camden police, following a search of a residence occupied by Strickland, charged him with possession of schedule 1 and 2 controlled substance with the purpose to deliver, possession of meth or cocaine, possession of schedule 4 and 5 controlled substance with purpose to deliver, possession of schedule 6 controlled substance with purpose to deliver, three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, a class D felony, possession of drug paraphernalia, class A felony, 3 counts, plus dealing drugs at a residence near a church.

On August 1, Deputy Prosecuting attorney R. Jeffrey Sawyer filed 10 drug related charges in Circuit Court against 35 year old Emma Jean Tate of Camden. The charges were filed by Camden police officers following an investigation. Tate was charged with three counts of delivery of meth or cocaine, 3 counts of maintaining a premise near a drug free zone and possession of meth or cocaine with the purpose to deliver. The police investigation of Tate dated from May till August of last year.

Sawyer also filed charges against 58 year old Louis Hillman Wray of Camden. Wray is charged with two commercial burglaries, one on June 29 and another on June 30. Wray is charged with the break-in at the Corner Store on California on June 29 and with the break-in on June 30 of a building on Magnolia Road. He's charged with two counts of commercial burglary, criminal trespass, theft of property, breaking and entering and two counts of criminal mischief.
