86 year old Ruby M. Brown of Pine Bluff died on Sunday at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born in Kingsland.

Mrs. Brown obtained her GED at the age of 76 and earned the Directors Award for Exemplary Devotion to Successful Pursuit of her diploma. She also earned the Sgt. Lee Hudson Memorial Award for character, patriotism  and citizenship.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon at two at Buie Funeral Home Chapel in Rison with Brother Robert Cossey and Brother Randy Scott officiating. Visitation will be from 1-2pm, prior to the services. Interment will follow at the Macedonia Cemetery at Rison. Funeral arrangements by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
