07/13/16   Camden Police Report

Camden police filed charges of 2^nd degree criminal mischief, criminal trespass and public intoxication against 29 year old Merico Ray Lewis of Camden. The charges are the result of an incident that occurred on July 12 at the Lincoln Center and reported by Camilla Frazier.

Frazier said her boyfriend, Merico Lewis had been drinking and wanted to come to her residence, she told the officer she didn't want him there while he was drinking. She said Lewis proceeded to attack her vehicle in the parking lot, breaking out a back window. Officers caught up with Lewis and observed bleeding cuts to his arm and elbow. Lewis said he struck the vehicle several times so he would not strike Frazier. Police dispatch reported that Lewis was banned from the housing units. He was transported to the police station where he was booked.

Camden police officer Justin Harper charged 47 year old Mary Amanda Davidson of Camden with DWI-accident and careless and prohibited driving. Davidson was charged after running her vehicle into Fairview Tobacco Warehouse. She failed field sobriety tests. A witness observed Davidson's erratic driving and reported it to police who responded about the time Davidson ran into the tobacco store.
