85 year old James “Jim” Russell of Kingsland passed away yesterday. The family will receive friends this evening from 6-8pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 10 at Kingsland First Baptist Church with Reverend Shane Russell officiating. Burial at Delamar Cemetery at Manning.

Russell worked as an offset printer at Hurley's in Camden, Purdue Printing in Pine Bluff and the Pine Bluff Commercial Printing. He taught printing at the Pine Bluff Reform School for almost 20 years. He was a gunsmith for several years having his gun shop at home. One of his survivors is his wife of 63 and a half years, Janet Denton Russell.
