07/08/16   Lash Charged In Keeton Garage Theft

Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the 13^th Judicial District, Division 4,Tom Wynne of Fordyce, has filed criminal charges in Dallas County Circuit Court against a 24 year old New Edinburg man.

Justin James Lash was charged on March 30 with a break-in at Keeton's garage on Moro street. Lash is alleged to have pried open the large bay door at the garage and took Keith Keeton's race car, drove it to Hampton and wrecked  it. Wynne charged Lash with commercial burglary and theft of property.

Wynne will also seek to have Lash tried under the habitual criminal statute allowing the judge to add additional jail time.
