Graveside services for 95 year old James Luther Butler of Sparkman will be held this morning at 10 at Sardis Cemetery in Sparkman with Reverend Travis Langley and Reverend Max Deaton officiating. Visitation will be from 9 till 10 before services.

Butler was a WW II Army veteran. He was a heavy machine operator and in later years worked as a motor patrol operator for Ouachita and Dallas Counties. His obituary says James was a farmer, he raised kids, crops, cows and chickens.
