07/05/16   Warren Receives Over $59,000.00 Grant for Repairs To The Old Railway Station

Governor Asa Hutchinson recently announced that the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program has awarded $2,842,862.00 in grants for projects in 54 Arkansas counties, including Bradley County, through its County Courthouse Restoration Sub grant.

The Bradley County Chamber of Commerce received a $59,602.00 Historic Preservation Restoration Grant for roof restoration at the 1909 Warren and Ouachita Valley Railway Station in Warren. Warren Formerly received a $1,000.00 Downtown Revitalization Grant.

An additional $16,000.00 in Downtown Revitalization Grants were awarded to cities involved in Main Street's Arkansas Downtown Network.

Pine Bluff received a $1,000.00 grant for its downtown development project. Calhoun County received $52,500.00 for a courthouse grant.
