07/04/16   Today Is The 4th Of July What Does That Mean

Today is July 4^th..Independence Day, the day we celebrate our independence from Great Britain. I think it appropriate to hear a quote from Thomas Jefferson, author of America's Declaration of Independence, America's 3^rd President, and this quote is so apropos today....Jefferson said: “God who gave us life, gave us liberty. Can the liberties of a nation be secure when we have removed a conviction that these liberties are the gift of God? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, that his justice cannot sleep forever.”

We all need to reflect on that thought today...God is just...that his justice cannot sleep forever... The question remains..in light of all that's happening in our country today..all of the fighting, bickering, name calling...”I'll do it my way” attitude... the question remains: How can God Bless America?
