06/28/16   City Officials Continue To Work On Water Tower Problem In Bearden

Inspection of the water towers in Bearden has been ongoing for the past week or so. The city was instructed by the state that it needed to clean up the towers. Mayor Iva Lou Stoker discussed the issue at the last city council meeting.

There are some residents in Bearden who do not want the old water tower by city hall taken down, Mayor Stoker addressed that issue also.

The Bearden City Council will act on a bond ordinance concerning the water tower project at its next meeting in July. The meeting will be held at the Launius Community Building on 3^rd Street.
