J.D. Lunsford of the Pleasant Ridge community near Rison died on Thursday.He was 89.

Lunsford was a retired mechanic and owned and operated Lunsford's Small Engine Repair for many years.

Funeral services will be held this morning at 10 at Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church near Rison with Brother Don Breshears officiating. Interment at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Buie Funeral Home of Rison in charge of arrangements.
