Funeral services for 93 year old James Cleveland “Poppie” Hope will be held tomorrow morning at 10 at Fuller-Hale-South Chapel with Brother Billy George West and Brother Harvey Hibner officiating. Interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.

He was born at Woodlawn and graduated from Pine Bluff High School. He was an accountant and bookkeeper for his entire career, first working for Arkansas Oak Flooring Company in Pine Bluff and Junction City.

For 40 years he worked at the Pine Bluff Commercial and after his retirement remained secretary treasurer to the board until the Freeman family sold the business in the 80's.

Hope died Saturday. Visitation will be this evening from 5-7pm at Fuller-Hale-South funeral home of Pine Bluff.
