06/09/16   Pilot Dies Passenger Injured When Plane Crashes In Jefferson County

According to a KATV report, emergency crews have confirmed that one person died and another was injured following a plane crash in Jefferson County last evening. The report says the plane crashed near Sand Creek Road in the western part of Jefferson county.

An area fire department source said the pilot was killed in the crash and the passenger was taken to an area hospital with leg injuries. No other details of the crash immediately available.
