06/02/16   Weekend Water Damage Underscores Need For Roof Repairs  At Ouachita County Courthouse

A contract was recently let by Ouachita County Justices Of The Peace to get the roof repaired on the Ouachita County Courthouse. The roof has been in bad shape for several years. The work is underway on the roof and according to County Judge Robbie McAdoo, workers are busy putting down the undercoating on the roof.

A major leak occurred over the weekend during the heavy rain.

Judge McAdoo said the roof repair project is due to be completed by mid-June.

The Ouachita County Quorum Court will be meeting this month at a new site. The meeting will be held Monday, June 6 at 7pm at the Ouachita County Detention Center site in the courtroom.
