06/01/16    Fordyce Man Charged With Possession In Dallas County Circuit Court

A 23 year old Fordyce man has been charged in Dallas County Circuit Court with possession of a controlled substance. The charges were filed on May 26 against Jarrett Boyd Cole of Fordyce by deputy prosecuting attorney Tom Wynne.

The charges stem from a traffic stop on March 29 in Fordyce by Deputy Keith Axsom and Sheriff Stan McGahee. According to the charges, when Cole exited his vehicle, a glass meth pipe fell out. Cole claimed he didn't know where the pipe came from. Cole also had a warrant out on him from the Fordyce Police Department.
