05/26/16   TV And Guns Taken In Dallas County Burglary

 

On May 3, Marcus Brooks, who resides at 365 Dallas 126 called the Dallas County Sheriff's office to report his house had been broken into. Deputy Dimitri Williams and investigator Keith Axsom responded.

Brooks told the deputies he had left his home on April 28 and when he returned home on May 3, he noticed the front door was open. Once inside the home he discovered a bedroom window had been broken out where entry was evidently made. After further investigation, Brooks discovered that a television and three guns were missing, a Centurion 223 caliber semi automatic AR-15 worth an estimated $800.00, a Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun and a Remington 22 caliber semi automatic rifle worth an estimated $200.00. There were no suspects at the time of the report.
