05/25/16   Bearden Man Faces Battery Charges

 

William Pete Moseley of Bearden has been charged in circuit court in Camden with second degree domestic battery and third degree battery. The charges were filed May 19 by Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the 13th Judicial District, R. Jeffrey Sawyer.

According to a police report filed in court, Bearden police got a call on April 8 from Pat Mosely at a residence on North Plum in Bearden, seeking assistance. When police responded Moseley stated her son William had struck her and a friend, Theresa Evans several times. The report stated Mrs. Evans was struck trying to assist Mrs. Moseley. Both suffered minor injuries.
