05/25/16   Ouachita County Detention Inmate Charged In Circuit Court

 

An inmate at the Ouachita County Detention Center has been charged in circuit court in Camden with furnishing a prohibited article. The charges were filed on May 20, by Deputy prosecuting attorney Phillip A. Stone.

The report states that on April 7, inmate Richard D. Chambers of Camden received two postcards found to have small pieces of a schedule two narcotic, a fentanyl patch.

After reviewing phone calls, Chambers made, investigators found one call to Sandy Chambers in Michigan. Chambers asked if her mother had anymore cabbage patch kids, the reply was affirmative and Sandy Chambers mailed the inmate Chambers the narcotic.
