05/20/16   Seniors Graduate Tonight In Fordyce And Bearden Next Friday In Sheridan

 

Pomp and Circumstance will be ringing in the ears of graduating seniors in Fordyce and Bearden tonight. Fordyce will be graduating 73 seniors in ceremonies at FBT arena on the Fordyce High School campus at 6pm.Superintendent Dr. Albert Snow told us about two other graduations coming up.

At Bearden, 44 seniors will graduate tonight at 7pm at the Bearden High School Gym. Superintendent Denny Rozenberg said graduation is later than last year.

The commencement speaker will be Robert Parham Sr.

Sheridan assistant superintendent Doug West says 245 seniors will graduate at Sheridan this year. The graduating number varies from 245-260 each year. Graduation services will be held on Friday, May 27. Three students will speak at the commencement services, the valedictorian and two honor students.

Sheridan is a huge school district with 46 bus routes. West says they have buses running from 6:30am till 5:30 pm.
